OLD ORCHARD BEACH — An Old Orchard Beach special enforcement team raided an apartment at 57 Old Salt Road the morning of March 1, charging three local people with possession of crack cocaine.
Police charged James Ross, 50, with possession of crack cocaine and six counts of violating bail conditions and charged Peter Guarino, 45, with possession of crack cocaine and possession of marijuana. Officers issued a court summons to Tanya Margate, 39, on charges of possession of crack cocaine and two counts of violating bail conditions.
The department's special enforcement team has in recent months been stepping up the town's efforts at combatting the drug trade, which officials say spills over into other types of crime, like burglary, that affect town residents' quality of life.
