Olympic skater Hamilton campaigns for Romney in NH

The Associated Press

NASHUA, N.H. — Figure skating champion Scott Hamilton is heading to New Hampshire to campaign for the Romney-Ryan presidential ticket.

Hamilton, winner of the 1984 Olympic gold medal and a four-time world champion, will be part of a bus tour Tuesday, with stops planned in Nashua, Rindge, New London, Henniker and Manchester.

The campaign says Hamilton will emphasize that the nation needs the kind of leadership Romney showed in saving the 2002 Winter Olympics from massive budget shortfalls.
