WISCASSET – The driver of a pickup truck died after apparently losing control of the vehicle, driving off Westport Bridge Road and crashing into a tree, police said.
Two passengers in the pickup truck were taken to a local hospital. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred about 2:50 a.m. Saturday, Wiscasset police said.
Police have not released the names of the driver or passengers. The crash remains under investigation.
