Orienteering race held for high school students

POWNAL – Teams from across Maine competed in the Teens To Trails T3 Maine Adventure Race on Saturday at Bradbury Mountain State Park.

First place: Seahawk XC (Chase Brown and Wyatt Anthony), 218 points; 2nd: Team Devlin (Timothy Devlin, Logan Roche and Sean Perry), 173 points; 3rd: Tony Hawk (Sam Peluso and Chris Thibeault), 144 points; 1st Place All Women’s Team: Operatic Orators (Allison Pease and Susannah Higginbotham), 79 points.

Teens To Trails promotes healthy lifestyles and environmental stewardship by engaging teens in the outdoors. It is T3′s goal to fight nature-deficit-disorder by directly supporting and training high school outing clubs.

The T3 Adventure Race is an orienteering race for high school students.
