Today in Penobscot Bay, a lobsterman landed a blue lobster. The catch occurred on the night of a blue moon – the second full moon of the month.

Mike Billings, the sternman on the boat, which also happens to be blue, said the lobster is being transported to the Rock and Art Shop on Central Street in Bangor for display in a saltwater aquarium.
