PORTLAND — Traffic is moving at a snail's pace on Interstate 295 North after a minor car crash near Exit 5.

Cars are at a standstill as far south as the I-95 and I-295 interchange, and as far north as Exit 7. Exit 5 is for Congress Street.

Passers-by said state troopers are on scene for what looked like a multi-vehicle "fender bender."

Around 6:15 p.m., state police said the crash should be cleared up shortly.
