WORCESTER, Mass. Chris Brown scored a pair of third period goals as the Portland Pirates edged the Worcester Sharks, 4-3, in an AHL game on Sunday.

Portland and Worcester basically played a game of you-score-I-score during the first two periods which ended with the game tied 2-2.

The Pirates’ Tobias Reider scored an unassisted goal at 3:55 but Worcester¹s Adam Comrie countered with a power-play goal at 12:17.

Tobias’ second goal gave Portland a 2-1 lead after one period but Worcester tied it at 6:58 of the second on Nick Petricki’s goal.
