ROCHESTER, N.H. — Police in Rochester, N.H., have arrested a man they say struck a woman with his vehicle and then fled the scene with their 10-month-old son.

Police say 34-year-old Dennis Allan Meeks is accused of knocking the mother to the ground with his car as he was leaving a home Wednesday. She suffered minor injuries.

Meeks was found in a mobile home park a few hours later.

Meeks was being arraigned today on charges of reckless conduct, interference with custody, and theft by unauthorized taking. The boy was unharmed and was returned to his mother.
