Police responding to Brunswick robbery

The robbery was reported at the Big Apple convenience store on Pleasant Street.

Brunswick police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed the Big Apple convenience store Friday night.

Two suspects – a male and a female with their faces covered by bandannas - entered the store at 111 Pleasant St. at 8:43 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded cash, according to police. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects also attempted to rob a female customer, but were scared off before getting any money from her, police said.

The male is described as being between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall and between 240 and 260 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with three stripes down the sleeves, black pants and a white sneakers.

The female suspect is between 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches tall and between 220 and 240 pounds. She was wearing a red-hooded winter coat, white sneakers and had bare legs.

Both are believed to be white.
