PORTLAND — The Maine Transportation Department said two ramps to Interstate 295 in Portland will be reopening soon.
The I-295 northbound on-ramp at Park Avenue reopens during the day on Monday.
A second on-ramp, from Congress Street to I-295 northbound, is scheduled to reopen by Aug. 31, easing the number of vehicles using alternate routes to I-295 northbound.
The two on-ramps were closed last March as mild spring weather allowed construction crews to gain an early start on this year's $7.9 million Interstate 295 bridge rehabilitation project.
