PORTLAND — The Portland Police Department is seeking a suspect in an armed robbery that took place about 5:35 p.m. Thursday at the ATM at TD Bank North at 2 Portland Square.

The victim, a 36-year-old Falmouth woman, told officers she was forced at gunpoint to withdraw money from the ATM from her bank account. The suspect took her money and her cellphone before fleeing west toward Pleasant Street.
He is described as a white male, 6- to 6-feet-2 inches tall, 160-180 pounds, wearing jeans, a blue pullover under a light gray or blue zippered hooded sweatshirt and a black winter mask that revealed only his eyes.
The suspect showed a black semi-automatic style handgun.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery or who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact the Portland Police at 207-874-8533.
