PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Two experts on the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy are holding a public discussion next week at the Portsmouth Public Library.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The first speaker, Rex Bradford, is president of the nonprofit Mary Ferrell Foundation, where he developed an online searchable collection of JFK assassination records.

The second speaker, Peter Janney, is the author of “Mary’s Mosaic: The Conspiracy to Murder John F. Kennedy, Mary Pinchot Meyer, and Their Vision for World Peace,” published in 2012.

The 50th anniversary of the assassination is Nov. 22.

The discussion also will focus on the assassination’s aftereffects on American government policy, including the war in Vietnam, relations with developing countries and the nuclear arms race with the Soviet Union.
