Saco Dunkin' Donuts robbed at gunpoint

Saco police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts on Portland Road on Wednesday night.

SACO — Saco police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts at 865 Portland Road at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Deputy Police Chief Jeffrey Holland said the woman showed a black semi-automatic handgun, demanded cash and told employees that two men were waiting for her in a vehicle parked outside the shop.

The employees gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the woman, who is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build and bright blue eyes. She was wearing blue jeans and a gray pullover sweatshirt with red lettering across the front the number 28 on the back.

She also was wearing black and white sneakers. She was wearing latex gloves and carrying a green canvas bag.

Saco police asked that anyone with information about the robbery or who saw anything suspicious in that area at the time should call 282-8216.
