SANFORD — Sanford police are investigating an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven at 489 Main St. in Springvale that occurred at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

A man entered the store and displayed a gun and demanded cash before fleeing, police said.
The man is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with green and gray eyes, wearing a ski mask, purple hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, green gloves and hiking boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sanford police at 324-9170, ext. 4.
