Scontras campaign receives endorsement from former New York City Mayor

Maine First District Congressional candidate Dean Scontras announced today that his campaign has been endorsed by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

The announcement came after Scontras, a Republican, met with Guiliani on Wednesday in New York City.

The men discussed a number of issues including how to address the federal budget deficit.

Scontras is running against First District incumbent, U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree. She is a Democrat.
