Search of Gorham house turns up ecstasy, marijuana

GORHAM – A Gorham man was charged with possession of Ecstasy Thursday after a police search that also turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Keegan Roma, 20, was charged with possession of ecstasy after a police search of his home at 31 State St. on Thursday. Gorham police and agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at the house at 5:45 p.m.

Keegan was released from police custody and will be arraigned Sept. 12 in Portland District Court, according to police.

During the search, Wade Roma, 22, of Westbrook, was arrested on outstanding warrants and probation violations. He was taken to Cumberland County Jail and likely will be arraigned next week, police said. 

Investigators confiscated Ecstasy, marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia, but did not specify how much.
