PHIPPSBURG — The Maine Warden Service is investigating an ATV crash in Phippsburg that injured a 17-year-old boy.

Warden Doug Kulis says wardens, Phippsburg firefighters and Sagadahoc County sheriff’s deputies responded to an area of Devil’s Highway, a series of dirt private dirt roads, shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

Kulis says the teen was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to Maine Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not known but Kulis tells WMTW-TV they are not considered life threatening.

The boy’s name was not made public.
