KENNEBUNK — Kennebunk police are searching for two women they say entered a retail seafood establishment Sunday evening, demanded money, and fled in an older model, black Toyota pickup truck.

Lt. Anthony Bean Burpee said the women entered Herb’s Seafood, 58 York St., around 4:45 p.m. and demanded cash from the employees. Burpee did not know if the robbers displayed a weapon.

Burpee said the women left in a pickup truck, and were last seen heading north on Route 1.

The first suspect is described by police as being in her 20s, heavyset, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath a black coat. Her accomplice is also in her 20s with a thin build, and has a scar near the right side of her mouth. She was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt underneath a black coat. Both women were wearing blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects should contact the Kennebunk Police Department at 985-6121.
