USM wins opening game of baseball championship, 2-1

APPLETON, Wis. — Forrest Chadwick singled home Jake Glauser with the winning run in the top of the 10th inning to give the University of Southern Maine the 2-1 win over Millsaps College in Friday's opening game of the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship at Fox Cities Stadium.

Linfield, coached by former N.Y. Yankees third baseman Scott Brosius, led 5-0 in the third inning.
