WATERBORO — A Waterboro man who is wanted in Florida for dealing in stolen property and providing false ownership information was arrested in York County over the weekend following a domestic dispute.

William L. King Jr., Chief Deputy for the York County Sheriff’s Office, said 49-year-old Michael Bowers gave police a Florida driver’s license when they responded to a domestic disturbance on Saturday afternoon.

A routine warrants check revealed that Bowers is wanted in Broward County Florida where he faces seven counts of dealing in stolen property and seven counts of false ownership information for items he was pawning.
