FREEPORT — Jonny Wilson of Falmouth was the top finisher in the men's division of the 35th running of the L.L. Bean 10K this morning with a time of 31:41.
Josh Zolla of Freeport, last year's winner, came in second with a time of 32:50, and third place in the men's division went to Christopher Harmon of Brunswick, who finished in 32:59.
In the women's division, Erica Jesseman of Scarborough finished first with a time of 36:44. She placed 15th overall.
She was followed by Meredith Anan, of Easton, Conn., with a time of 37:54, and third place in the women's division went to Carly Dion of Biddeford, who finished in 38:04.
Olympic champion Joan Benoit Samuelson of Freeport finished fourth in the women's division with a time of 38:09.
The race kicked off L.L. Bean's 100th anniversary celebration today. It was to be followed by a parade down Main Street, with company Chairman Leon Gorman, L.L.'s grandson, as the grand marshal.
