PORTLAND — A Windham man who fatally shot another hunter faces a manslaughter charge.
A Cumberland County grand jury handed up the indictment against 61-year-old William Briggs. Briggs shot Peter Kolofsky, 46, in Sebago on Nov. 5.
Kolofsky was hunting alone not far from his home on Hogfat Hill Road when Briggs shot him in the chest.
