Yarmouth garage damaged by fire

YARMOUTH — Firefighters from four towns fought a fire Thursday night in a garage on East Main Street.

A fire dispatcher said the garage, which was unoccupied, is located near Estabrook’s garden center at 337 East Main St. The fire broke out around 7:20 p.m. but was under control within a matter of minutes.

Firefighters from Yarmouth, Freeport, North Yarmouth and Cumberland responded.
