Maine Event: Bath becomes blarney zone

REVELERS, RUNNERS and tuggers clad in green filled the streets of Bath for Blarney Days events on Saturday, including a St. Patrick's parade, Shamrock Sprint 5K race and tug of war competitions.

Drum major Vaughn Dyer leads the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Corps in the parade through Bath. Most of the band’s members have a public safety background, including Dyer, a Navy veteran and retired Cape Elizabeth police officer.
