BRIDGTON — Police say a Casco woman was killed Monday morning when her minivan crossed the center line of Route 302 and collided with a school bus.

Jacqueline Ingalls, 74, was driving north around 7 a.m. when her 1989 Plymouth minivan hit the small bus head-on at 566 Portland Road, also known as Route 302, police said.

The bus, carrying three Lake Region High School students, was driven by Blair Watson, 62, of Naples. The driver and the students were taken to Bridgton Hospital to be checked out, but did not have serious injuries, school officials said.

The road was closed between Kansas Road in Naples and Sandy Creek in Bridgton for about three hours as members of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reconstructed the crash.
