PORTLAND — In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Charles Shipman Payson Building, the Portland Museum of Art will host architect Henry N. Cobb as the 2013 Bernard Osher Lecturer.

Cobb designed the Payson wing, which opened in June 1983. He will talk at 6:30 p.m. June 18 at Holiday Inn by the Bay. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased online at portlandmuseum.org or by calling 775-6148.

His lecture is titled “The Streets of Falmouth Neck: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.” He will discuss Portland’s streets and squares and the ongoing dialogue between the memory of the city’s past, preoccupation with its present, and dream of its future, according to a museum press release.
