PELHAM, N.H. - Police in New Hampshire now say 13 people were injured in a fireworks explosion outside a Pelham home. Authorities say two adults and a child remain hospitalized.
A relative said the child is improving and expected to make a full recovery.
Edmund Gleason said a second child, his 18-month-old grandson Tyler Burnelle, was released from a Boston hospital on Wednesday, the day after the explosion outside the home of Gleason's daughter.
Gleason told the Nashua Telegraph that 2-year-old Ben Bertini was placed in a medically induced coma after the Tuesday night explosion. He said the child needs minor skin grafts, but is doing better than originally feared and "should recover very well."
