As the summer tourist season comes to an end, many Old Orchard Beach visitors have headed home.
A few, however, have stayed to enjoy the final days of summer. The town's attractions are difficult to leave behind: seven miles of sandy beach, a pier full of shops and restaurants and a beachfront amusement park.
