Police are investigating a robbery at the Kennebunk Savings Bank on School Street at noon Friday.
Police described the robber as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, pinkish colored pants and white sneakers, long brown hair and carrying a black and white checkered purse. The robber also had white surgical tape on the knuckles of both hands.
Witnesses told police they believed it was a man dressed as a woman.
He was last seen running on Back Street, police said.
Police asked that anyone with information call Det. William Russell at 207-698-1136. Police say there is a reward for helping catch and convict the suspect but they did not disclose how much.
