Traffic slowed on I-295 southbound in Falmouth

FALMOUTH — Traffic on I-295 southbound has been delayed after a truck lost some of its load of gravel on the highway near Exit 7.

Workers are in the process of cleaning up the mess but traffic remains slow north of the Lunt Road overpass.

As of 9:15 a.m., traffic was reported moving slowly through the area in both directions
