Jeff King and Neva Laskowski of Dayville, Conn., pose for a self-portrait on the top deck of Spring Point Ledge Light in South Portland.
Visitors got free first-hand looks at 22 lighthouses during the fourth annual Maine Open Lighthouse Day on Saturday.
The event is intended to increase awareness of the state's maritime heritage. It was organized by the Maine Office of Tourism, the Coast Guard and the American Lighthouse Foundation.
