Truck rolls over on icy Windham road; driver hospitalized

WINDHAM — A Pine Tree Waste trash truck rolled over on icy roads in Windham Wednesday morning, injuring the driver.

The truck rolled onto its side on Evans Ridge Road at about 9:30 a.m., dispatchers said. The road was closed while emergency workers removed the driver and took him to the hospital and worked to right the truck.

The man's injuries did not appear to be serious, dispatchers said.
