PROPEL, the young professional arm of the Portland Regional Chamber, hands out five awards during its second annual Entreverge party Wednesday at Port City Music Hall in Portland. The awards recognize business innovation and contribution to the local economy.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a networking reception, featuring a cash bar and a selection of appetizers. At 6:30 p.m., the awards ceremony takes place. All five winners will receive an electric guitar in lieu of a trophy. Following the ceremony at 7:30 p.m, the Jason Spooner Trio will perform.

Tickets to the event cost $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers and can be purchased by calling 772-2811.
