The campaign of revisionist history needs to be met with some actual facts to counter the distorted and delusional writing of people with special interests. If the schools taught more history than they are currently doing, people would know there are good reasons that Andrew Jackson is on the $20 bill.

In addition to being president, Andrew Jackson was also in charge of the 28th South Carolina Regiment at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. This was an important victory that helped to finally get British soldiers removed from this country and helped to bring us the freedoms we enjoy today.

This was an important event for our country and it is reason enough for Andrew Jackson’s picture to be on the $20 bill. He stuck his neck out and put his life on the line for this country and people should know that and stop slandering him.

This campaign to have his picture removed from the $20 bill is just more anti-military revisionist history by ignorant, uneducated, left-wing liberals and it needs to stop.
