I saw in the paper the other day and again on the TV about these immigrants wanting to keep all the general assistance they can get.
Well, from a 71-year-old American: I have worked hard all my life since I was 14 and nobody ever gave me or my wife anything. So what gives these immigrants the right to come over here and expect a free ride?
If the church brought them here, then they should support them, not me. Don’t dump them on us so you can look like the hero – pay up.
You would think that if they were lucky enough to get to here they would learn to speak English as soon as possible. Since they don’t have any money, they shouldn’t have any kids that they can’t afford – we don’t want to support them.
