Military notes

Army Reserve Pfc. Thomas C. Garvin has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Garvin is the son of Pam Garvin of Steep Falls and is a 2005 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, Standish.

 

Army National Guard Spec. Megan E. Everest has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Everest is the daughter of John and Sue Everest of Kennebunkport and granddaughter of Bob Everest of Portland. She is a 2007 graduate of Kennebunk High School and graduated from Gordon College, Wenham, Mass., in 2011
