Wednesday

Blueberry pancakes, sausage, 7 to 10 a.m., annual breakfast, St. Jude Church, Main and School streets, Freeport. Large order: $6; small order: $5.

Friday

Friday lunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland. Haddock chowder: $8; lobster roll: $7.50; egg salad: $4.50; other items available; free delivery for 10 or more orders.

Haddock chowder, grilled sandwiches, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., takeout available, First Congregational Church, 3 Gray Road, North Yarmouth.

Chinese beef, vegetables, noon to 1:30 p.m., Spectrum Generations, 12 Main St., Topsham.

Suggested donation: per person: $6; age 60 and older or disabled: $4. Call 729-0475 for reservations.

Baked beans, spaghetti, pie, 4:30 to 6 p.m., North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, Pownal. Adults: $6; children under 12: $3; under 2: free.

Barbecued chicken, strawberry shortcake, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Stewart P. Morrill Post 35, 413 Broadway, South Portland. Adults: $8; children 5 to 12: $3.

Beans, chop suey, dessert, 5 to 6 p.m., American Legion, 15 Lewiston Road, Gray. Adults: $7; children under 12: $2.50; under 5: free.
