Blood Drives

The following American Red Cross blood drives are open to the public:


Noon to 6 p.m., North Parish Church, Sanford

1 to 6 p.m., Sokokis Function Hall, Limerick

2 to 7 p.m., Oxford Hills High School, South Paris


9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Spruce Mountain High School, Jay

8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Verrill Dana, Portlands


1 to 6 p.m., Thornton Academy, Saco

1 to 6 p.m., Fire Department, Topsham


1 to 6 p.m., American Legion Hall, Rockland


10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Cinemagic Stadium Theaters, Westbrook


10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mason Oxford Lodge 18, Norway

April 1

Noon to 6 p.m., Wireless Zone, Sanford

The Portland Donor Center, 524 Forest Ave., is open noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is open noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays.

Platelet donors also are needed. Donations are by appointment. For information call 775-2367 or 1-800-482-0743.
