The Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center helps people with disabilities reach their highest potential through the healing power of horses.


SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT 6 officials celebrated winners of its annual writing contest at Bonny Eagle Middle School.

They included: Kindergarten – Cameron Carter, Cordelia Porell, Katen Forrest, Madyson Quimby, Lillian Gaudiano, Aislinn Walker, Maia Kane, Bridget Thompson, Emily Martin and Amelia Zimmel.

Grade 1 – Scarlett Akey, Delaney Hesler, Kenny Beaumier, Emma Pendleton, Michael Gervais, Molly Sawyer, Ava Gleason, Isebelle Southard, Jack Hanson and Ariella Swett.

Grade 2 – Nyome Baldinelli, Hailey Koons, Olivia Flewelling, Fiona McCormick, Eliza Fowler, Ava Rausch, Zachary Hase, Abel Sullivan, Natalie Haug and Delia Swett.

Grade 3 – Emma Abbott, Ashton Hutchins, Eleuteria Bernardino, Emma Noonan, Tabitha Burgess, Lewin Pillsbury, Heidi Rae Corbeil, Olivia Robinson, Morgan Drinkwater and Amelia Smith.

Grade 4 – Ami Beaumier, Wyatt Ronco, Jennifer Christensen, James Russell, Sarah Dube, Alasdair Swett, Cassidy Grass, Julia Swett, Jack McCormick and Lucy Weyand.

Grade 5 – Evan Bell, Meira Eckstein, Hailey Bell, Kaylee Collins, Collette Boure, Kiera Hawkes, Sarah Champagne, Caitlyn Myers, George Childs and Emma Ridlon.

Grade 6 – Kathryn Delaney, Sara Hedglin, Marshall Farwell, Shawn Houser, Samantha Graffam, Ashleigh Miller, Kasey Grant, Caleb Pendleton and Alexis Petty.

Grade 7 – Carly Brown, Evan Gillingham, Katie Champagne, James Shackley, Sabrina Cross, Megan St. Jean, Hayden Eilinger, Lani Swett, Megan French and Desiree Wright.

Grade 8 – Derek Carpine, Autumn London, Gwendolyn Foster, Eva Niedermeyer, Caroline George, Rachel Ratte, Alyssa Libby, Taylor Sellner, Kyaunna Libby and Rylie Turner.


THE BOOK SHED, 27 Staples St., is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays this month. Hours are weather permitting. The program is overseen by Friends of Libby Library. All donations benefit library programs. For more details, call 934-4351.
