Mildred L. Day Memorial School Math Team members, from left, Marcel Dubois, Givon McLean, Cole Paulin, Dylan Nguyen, Shelby Heiman and Maris Podgurski pose with their winning ribbons after placing third in the Southern Maine Elementary School Math League Meet, held recently in Portland. The fourth- and fifth- grade Arundel students competed against 29 other schools from southern Maine. Paulin, who served as team captain, finished third individually out of 174 competitors. The team was coached by Donna Whitman.
