Air National Guard Airman Tyler A. Stanley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Stanley earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the grandson of Ralph Stanley of South Portland and is a 2011 graduate of South Portland High School.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class James N. Keto, son of Sharon Allie of Biddeford and John Keto, of Oneonta, N. Y., is one of several sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) that have formed a Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) committee. CSADD is a peer-to-peer mentoring program to encourage making positive decisions in all areas of their lives. Keto is a 2007 graduate of Biddeford High School and joined the Navy in 2009.
