Military Notes

Marine Corps Pvt. Damien M. Brume, son of Patrick Brume of Cumberland, has graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. 

Air Force Airman Abby L. Geiling graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Janet Geiling of Scarborough and is a 2012 graduate of York High School. 

All veterans are being encouraged to assist American Legion Post 42 in Damariscotta, in cooperation with the Library of Congress' Veteran's History Project, by completing a simple form of their military record, including a listing of camps, ships, campaigns, awards, events and experiences.
