Pig roast with corn, watermelon, 4 to 7 p.m., to benefit both the public library and the fire department's anniversary fund. Held at the Fire Station, Waldoboro. Adults: $8; children: $4.

Hawaiian Luau, 5 to 6:30 p.m., third annual event. Raymond Village Church, Main Street, Raymond. Adults: $8; children: $5.

Baked beans, American chop suey, pie, 4:30 to 6 p.m., West Scarborough United Methodist Church, Route 1, Scarborough. Adults: $8; children: $3.
