Friday

Friday lunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland. Haddock chowder: $8; lobster roll: $7.50; egg salad: $4.50; other items available; free delivery for 10 or more orders.

Baked haddock, rice pilaf, salad, noon to 1:30 p.m., Spectrum Generations, 12 Main St., Topsham. Suggested donation: per person: $6; age 60 and older or disabled: $4. Call 729-0475 for reservations.

Saturday

Deluxe breakfast, 8 to 10 a.m., sponsored by Freeport Elders Association and held at the Community Center, 53 Depot St., Freeport. Prices are based on menu choice. Adults: $3.50 or $4.50; seniors: $3 or $4; children: $2.

Pig roast, brisket or chicken, dessert, 4 to 7 p.m., with drive-through for orders to go. St. David's Episcopal Church, 138 York St./Route 1, Kennebunk. Adults: $12; children 12 and younger: $6; family:$30.

Pig roast with corn, watermelon, 4 to 7 p.m., to benefit both the public library and the fire department's anniversary fund. Held at the Fire Station, Waldoboro. Adults: $8; children: $4.

Hawaiian Luau, 5 to 6:30 p.m., third annual event. Raymond Village Church, Main Street, Raymond. Adults: $8; children: $5.

Baked beans, American chop suey, pie, 4:30 to 6 p.m., West Scarborough United Methodist Church, Route 1, Scarborough. Adults: $8; children: $3.

Beans, spaghetti, cake or pie, seatings at 5 and 6 p.m., First Parish Church, Pownal Center. Adults: $7; children under 12: $3.50. For reservations, call 688-4433.
