BBQ ribs, scalloped potatoes, dessert, 5 to 6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, 50 Peary Terrace, South Portland. Per person: $7.

Thursday

Community meal with roast pork, noon, Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Suggested donation: $5.

Friday

Friday lunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland. Haddock chowder: $8; lobster roll: $7.50; egg salad: $4.50; other items available; free delivery for 10 or more orders.

Baked haddock supper, 5 to 6:15 p.m., St. John the Evangelist, Main Street, South Portland. Adults: $8; seniors: $7; children: $4; family of five: $24.

Saturday

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, dessert, 4:30 to 6 p.m., Second Congregational Church, 19 Crescent St., Biddeford. Adults: $7; children: $5.

Lobster roll meal, 4:30 to 6 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 179 Ridgeland Ave., South Portland.

Beans, macaroni and cheese, dessert, 5 to 6 p.m., First Parish Church, 40 Main St., Freeport. Adults: $8; children: $4.

Beans, American chop suey, pie, 5 to 6 p.m., Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Adults: $8; children: $3.

Barbecue chicken, fiddleheads if available, dessert, 5 and 6 p.m. seatings, also vegan and gluten-free options. East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road, East Otisfield. Free.

Spaghetti, meatballs or meatless, 5 to 7 p.m., to benefit Grace Street Ministry. Stevens Avenue Congregational Church, 790 Stevens Ave., Portland. Adults: $10; children: $5; under 3: free.
