Military Notes, Sept. 8, 2010

Army Pvt. Jake T. McDonough has graduated from the Fire Support Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Cathrine McDonough of Arundel and Thomas McDonough of Scarborough. He graduated from Kennebunk High School in 2009.

 

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew W. Emerson, son of Debra Emerson of Scarborough and Raymond Emerson of Windham, was recently deployed to Afghanistan while assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133, homeported at Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, Miss. Emerson joined the Navy in October 2003.
