    Top Ten Percent Seniors

    WILLIAM BARTLETT
    Throughout high school I have participated in varsity soccer, track & field, alpine skiing, National Honor Society, Community Service Club. I am excited to attend the University of Vermont next year and study exercise science.

    DYLAN FRISBIE, Salutatorian
    For activities I was involved in Basketball, Indoor and Outdoor Track, Math Team, Library Advisory Group, and National Honor Society. I was the recipient of the Scholar Athlete award my Freshman year and the Phi Beta Kappa my Junior year. I am attending Colgate University, starting up in late June because I got into a selective program called the Summer Institute.

    AELEAH GRANGER
    In my high school career, I've been a part of the indoor and outdoor track team, the drama club, yearbook club, community service club, National Honor Society, student council, and I have been accepted into the District II Honor Musical Festival each year. Next year, I plan to move on to the University of Maine in Orono where I will work to get a bachelor degree in psychology. I hope to move into a field of therapy, though I have not decided on a focus yet.

    KATIE HERSOM
    During high school, I balanced three seasons of running, my grades, and participation in the Community Service Club and National Honor Society. Next fall, I plan to attend the University of New Hampshire and study Nutrition.

    BRAYDEN KIRBY
    I was a member of my school's Community Service Club and National Honor Society. I plan on attaining a degree in accounting at Saint Joseph's College.

    ALANNA LARRIVEE
    During my high school career, I've been an active member of the Civil Rights Team, Yearbook Committee, and Student Council. Additionally, I was nominated for and attended Dirigo Girls State as a junior and served as National Honor Society president as a senior. In the coming fall, I will be attending USM to study business and social sciences in hopes of one day managing a business or working in humanities or public services.

    DEVON MAGUIRE, Valedictorian
    I have fenced outside of high school for the past six years, my best results are from the fall of 2011 during which I came in 7th out of 131 nationally. I have participated in the National Honor Society at my high school and plan to go to Stony Brook University where I will work toward a major in Computer Science and a minor in Creative Writing.

    DAVID McCANN
    In the last four years I have been a part of many sports teams, such as Soccer, Track and Field and Nordic Skiing and have been a part of the National Honor Society and Community Service Club. I am excited to start my college career at Maine Maritime Academy next year where I will major in Marine Engineering Technologies.

    RICKHIA PAULSON
    Throughout my four years at Gray-New Gloucester High School I have participated in fall and winter cheerleading, track and field, the Patriot Players Drama Club, the National Honor Society, the GNG Community Service club, and Pulse Dance Company. I'm excited to join the honors program next year at the University of Maine in Orono where I will study zoology.

    SANDRA RICARDI
    In high school I was very involved with music, art, softball, indoor track and competitive gymnastics. I was also a member of the Community Service Club and NHS. I plan to attend Ursinus College in the fall studying a major in exercise sports science leading up to Physical Therapy and I will be playing on the UC softball team.

    STEPHANIE SAILOR
    In all four years of my high school career I dedicated my extra-curricular time to after school Patriot Players Drama Club, participating in many plays and musicals as well as competing in the District II One-Act festivals. Being in many AP classes and having the liberty to take an actual college English course at a community college to count as college and high school credit, I feel motivated to go on to college. I plan to continue studying as a Biology major and in my spare time I wish to continue with my passion for the arts by participating in other choral or theatrical activities.

    KAREN SUTHERLAND
    I played soccer, alpine skiing and softball, and was a member of NHS and the Community Service Club in high school. Next year I will be attending the University of Vermont.

    ALEXANDRA THOMPSON
    Throughout my high school career, I have been a part of both the Varsity Softball team and Indoor Track team, as well as the president of my graduating class, and a member of the community service club, national honor society, student council, and yearbook committee. Next year I will be attending Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and pursuing a degree in Finance.
