Willow Bates of Kennebunkport, daughter of Daphne Pulsifer and Daniel Bates, has been a member of the cross country team at KHS for 4 years and the captain of the team. She also is a member of the track and field team. She participated in three high school drama productions. Willow plans to travel to South America next winter. She will attend the University of Vermont in 2012.


Abigail Alice Bradford of Kennebunk, daughter of Andrew and Dorothy Bradford, is a member of the Executive Council, NHS, and Peer Helpers. Her athletic activities include the KHS ski team, soccer, and lacrosse. She has volunteered at the Maine Handicapped Skiing. Abigail plans to study Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia.


William Cadigan of Kennebunkport, is the son of Paul and Marcia Cadigan. His leadership activities include National Honor Society, Newspaper, Mock Trial Captain, 2010 Maine Youth Governor (YMCA Youth in Government program), Peer Helpers, & Senior Video Writer. He received the Middlebury Book Award and is an AP Scholar. Will participates on the swim team, Ultimate Frisbee team and is an avid participant in the theater program. He is a member of the Young Democrats and an intern at the Journal Tribune. Will plans to attend the University of Virginia on the Jefferson Scholarship.


Diana M. Campbell of Kennebunk, daughter of Teresa and Guy Campbell is a member of the National Honor Society, Vice President of Student Council, Captains’ Club, MC of Senior Cabaret Night, Mr. KHS hostess, dance committees, has done volunteering with Camp Sunshine, has done volunteering to assist with summer girl's basketball camps and sports captains. Her athletic activities include varsity soccer, basketball, softball and Academic Athlete/Scholar Athlete. Diana received the Magna Cum Laude Award. She will attend Colby-Sawyer College in NH.


Alex Christopher Deely of Kennebunk, son of George Deely and Connie Bamber, is a member of the Executive Council, National Honor Society, is the Newspaper Layout Editor. His athletic activities include baseball, tennis and Ultimate Frisbee. Alex is also a member of the Maine Irish Children’s Program which promotes peace throughout Northern Ireland, is a singer/songwriter for the Mousam River Ramblers, and is a St. Michael’s book award recipient. Alex plans on attending UMass-Amherst majoring in Sport Management.


Mary J. Dempsey of Kennebunk, daughter of Patricia and Richard Dempsey, has played varsity lacrosse for four years and was a member of the Upper New England National Team in 2010. She has participated in community service for the past 4 years and has volunteered for Kennebunk Parks & Rec’s art and indoor soccer programs at KES. Mary plans to attend the University of New Hampshire in the fall of 2011.


Elizabeth “Paige” Domine of Kennebunkport, daughter of Bob and Cynthia Domine, is National Honor Society president and a member of Mock Trial and French Club. Paige is active in music and drama. She performed with the KHS Chamber Choir, Maine All-State Choir, and Maine District 1 Choir. She has had leading roles in numerous KHS theatrical productions. Paige also participated in varsity swimming and track and JV basketball. She was a three-year member of the Executive Council, KHS’s 2008 Maine Youth Leadership Ambassador, and a recipient of the St. Michael’s College Book Award. Paige plans to study French at New York University.


Katharine Feldman of Kennebunkport, daughter of Maureen King and Marc Feldman, is involved in the Captains' Club, National Honor Society, and the Math Team. Katharine is the Kaohsiung International Club American Liaison and is an advisory group facilitator. She is a member of the Wind Ensemble and is the KHS musical stage manager. Katharine is captain of the KHS diving team, was named to the SMAA All Academic Team (Diving), and received the 2011 Coaches’ Award for Diving. She’s been dancing ballet, jazz, and hip hop since the age of 3. Academic honors include the Smith College Book Award, AP Scholar, and National Merit Commended Student. Katharine plans to attend Northeastern University to study Behavioral Neuroscience and then attend medical school after the successful completion of her undergraduate studies.


Luke Flynn of Kennebunk, son of Jacqueline Peters and Kevin Flynn, was involved with the World Affairs Seminar 2010, is a member of the Ultimate Frisbee Club and participated for many years in the Vaughn Island 4-H Camp. Luke is a varsity soccer and swimming athlete. He is taking a year to travel and then plans to pursue a degree abroad.


Kathryn Hand of Kennebunkport, daughter of Ann and Jeff Hand, attended RYLA, a Rotary youth leadership camp, during the summer after sophomore year. She was on the swim team all four years of high school, and was a captain her senior year. Kathryn was a varsity swimmer for 3 years. She played soccer all four years, and was on the varsity team her senior year. Kathryn participated on the track & field team during her freshman year. She volunteers in a kindergarten classroom at Consolidated School, and has taken piano lessons for the past ten years. Kathryn has had a year-long apprenticeship at The Nonantum Resort. She will be attending the University of New Hampshire next fall as a Hospitality Management major.


Linda Susan Harrison of Kennebunk, daughter of James and Laura Harrison, is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Newspaper Staff, and advisory discussion facilitator. Her athletic activities include cross country, golf team, Ultimate Frisbee club, and snowboarding. Linda is a member of New Life Church Youth Group and worship team, and West Kennebunk Fireman Triathlon volunteer. She has participated in various theater productions, was in Wind Ensemble all four years and is in Jazz Band. Linda plans on attending the University of Mississippi.


Nicole L. Hirst of Kennebunkport, daughter of Wanda Daggett and Michael Hirst, is a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, BRCOT student advisory committee and has participated in soccer, basketball, lacrosse and track (captain). Nicole has volunteered as a counselor at youth basketball and lacrosse camps and received Best in Show for directing the KHS Charity Fashion Show 2011. She also received Honorable Mention for a self-portrait print in the Scholastic Art competition. Nicole plans to major in Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and minor in Italian.


Edwin F. Kindler II of Kennebunk, son of Edwin and Elva Kindler, has been involved in multiple theater productions at KHS. He is also an Eagle Scout and a member of Boy Scouts Troop 304. At St. Martha’s Catholic Church, he is an altar server and a member of the youth group. Eddie plans to attend the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.


Taylor Landry of Kennebunk is the son of Paula and James Landry. During his four years at KHS, Taylor has participated in football, basketball, and baseball and was named captain his senior year in football and in baseball. He was named to the SMAA all academic football team in 2010 and is a member of the National Honor Society. He has been a member of the American Legion Baseball team all four years, and a volunteer for Parks and Rec programs as well as Habitat for Humanity. Taylor will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute this fall to study civil engineering.


Zoie A. Lape of Kennebunk, daughter of Chip and Lori Lape, is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council Historian and Rampage newspaper writer. She is a ski coach at Sugarloaf and enjoys ski racing. Zoie was a People to People Student Ambassador to England, Wales & Ireland, National AP Scholar, and received the Wellesley Book Award. She will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall to study Aerospace Engineering.


Margaux LeBlanc of Kennebunk, daughter of Arthur and Holly LeBlanc, is involved with Peer Helpers, National Honor Society and Moderator of the Student Senate. Her athletic activities include varsity ski team, varsity soccer goalie, water skiing, and she played lacrosse for 3 years. Margaux is also involved with Maine Handicapped Skiing, Chamber Choir, Jazz Band, All State Chorus and the Treblemakers A Cappella group. She plans to attend Colby College and pursue an education in Engineering and the Sciences.


Erik Leslie of Kennebunk, son of Scott and Barb Leslie, is a member of the National Honor Society and is employed at the YMCA as a Lifeguard. His athletic activities include cross country, swimming and Frisbee. Erik will be attending Michigan Technological University for Chemical Engineering.


Zachary Lounsbury of Kennebunk, son of Cathy and Tim Lounsbury, is the president of the KHS Political Affairs Club, President of Young Democrats, President/Founder of KHS Model UN Club, and the co-president of the KHS Gay Straight Alliance. Zac has been a member of the KHS band and Chamber Choir and was selected to the All-State chorus for all 4 years. He has participated in most of the theater performances at KHS and has also appeared in productions at Biddeford City Theatre and Arundel Barn Playhouse. He is a member of the National Honor Society, selected for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award, and the recipient of the Brandeis Book Award. Zac has also been involved in community activism and volunteered with the Kennebunk Democrats during the November elections. Following a semester long Spanish Immersion Program in South America, Zac will be attending Middlebury College with plans to study Neuroscience.


Kaitlin MacKenzie of Kennebunk, daughter of Karen MacKenzie and Robert MacKenzie, is a member of the Captains’ Club, National Honor Society, Pre-Prom advisory leader and participated in Video Creation’s “Point of No Return”. Her athletic activities include cross country freshman and sophomore years and swim team junior and senior years. Kaitlin is also involved with All State singing, musicals, plays, Acapella group “Out of the Ordinary”, BAND / WIND ENSEMBLE for 4 years Project Pilgrim volunteer 2000-2011, and Community Harvest volunteer. She plans to attend Salve Regina University in Rhode Island.


Rachel Magalski of Kennebunk, daughter of Michael and Cheryl Magalski, is a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Rachel has maintained High Honor Roll throughout high school at Kennebunk and is the class salutatorian. She was elected as Secretary of the Senate (junior year) and Chief of Staff (senior year) in Model State Legislature and a member of the National Honor Society. Rachel has participated in KHS varsity soccer & softball (Captain of both teams her senior year) and played on the Maine Metro FC premier soccer team in grades 9-11 and on the So. Maine heat ASA softball team throughout high school. She also volunteered at her church and with the KHS Interact Club. Rachel plans on attending the University of Florida to study Chemical Engineering.


Christopher R. Merriam of Kennebunk, son of Michael and Maria Merriam, is a member of Student Council and Captains’ Club and has participated in swimming, track & field and skiing. He volunteers at Maine Handicapped Skiing and was the recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award. Christopher plans to attend the University of Vermont and medical school.


David T. Pepin of Kennebunk, son of Tod and Maureen Pepin, is the President of Student Council this year, Managing Editor of the school newspaper, a Class Officer, Student Representative to the RSU 21 School Board, member of NHS, Peer Helpers, Student Senate and the Political Affairs Club. He has received the Williams College Book Award as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens Award. David will be attending George Washington University and plans to major in Business Administration concentrating in International Business and “Business Economics and Public Policy”.


William C. Records of Kennebunk, son of Christopher Records and Elizabeth Paradis, is K.H.S.’s class valedictorian. He is a member of the Student Senate, Captains’ Club, treasurer of the National Honor Society, French Club and Math Team. His athletic activities include captain of the KHS boys’ swim team and the Northern York County YMCA Manta Rays. He participates in the Pit Band, Jazz Band, plays Taps in the Memorial Day Parades and has been awarded the MPA Award, AP Scholar with Distinction, and National Merit Scholar finalist. William will be majoring in Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


Hannah R. Rush of Kennebunk, daughter of Daniel and Diana Rush, was a member of the school newspaper staff and Math Team. She played varsity tennis all four years, currently plays second singles and is co-captain. Hannah plans to attend Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she has been awarded the Traina Presidential Scholarship.


Alec Sandmire of Kennebunk, son of Beth Sandmire and David Sandmire, is a member of the Captains’ Club and the Altus Marus Chapter of the National Honor Society. His athletic activities include soccer in the 9th and 10th grade, varsity tennis all 4 years (team captain), swim team his senior year, and Ultimate Frisbee Club. Alec plans on attending Georgia Tech for Aerospace Engineering.


Robert Stockbridge of Kennebunk, son of Doug and Ann Stockbridge, an IB Diploma student, member of the National Honor Society, was a writer for the school newspaper, The Rampage, and has received awards to the following: Faculty Book Award, National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete, SMAA All Academic Team for Football, Basketball, Baseball and Lacrosse. Rob plans on attending Babson College to study Business Management.


Jillian P. Whitelaw of Kennebunk, daughter of Dennis and Joanne Whitelaw, is on Student Council, is a Class Officer, National Honor Society, Newspaper, Yearbook and a 3-year Math Team member. Her athletic activities include 4 years of varsity women’s lacrosse, 3 years of varsity field hockey, 1 year on first team and 2 years of women’s basketball. Jillian has received awards for SMAA All-American Team in field hockey and National Field Hockey Coach’s Association All Academic Team 2010/2011 for field hockey. She plans on studying nursing (major) and Holistic & Integrative Health (minor) at the University of Southern Maine, Class of 2015 and will play lacrosse on USM’s women’s lacrosse team.


Elizabeth K. Whitmore of Kennebunk, daughter of Kimberly Whitmore and Douglas Whitmore is a member of Christ Church and volunteers as a Sunday school teacher for the Christian Education Department. She plans to go to the University of New England starting in the fall of 2011. Beth also works part time as a teller at Kennebunk Savings Bank. She is majoring in Medical Biology and plans to go on to Dental School where she will specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.


April Yeung

of Kennebunk, daughter of Philip and Czarina Yeung, is a member of the Interact Club and Math Team and has volunteered at River Tree Arts, Kennebunk Library, and department aid at KHS. She received a special recognition for being a recital participant in the Elizabeth Dunaway Burnham Memorial Piano Festival. April plans on attending Bentley University to major in accounting.
