PORTLAND – Chad Luker scored five touchdowns to lead Mt. Blue High to a 44-42 victory over Marshwood in the Class B state championship game.
It completed an unbeaten season for Mt. Blue and gave the Cougars their first state title since 1980.
It was a wild game that wasn't decided until Mt. Blue's Bradley Jackson recovered a fumble with 1:46 remaining.
