Colby women's hockey team marks a milestone

WATERVILLE — The Colby College women's ice hockey program is marking a big milestone this weekend: 40 years of play.

The weekend is centered around the White Mules playing two games against Williams College Friday and again Saturday. Colby won Friday, 4-1.

Some Colby hockey alumnae from the 1972-73 squad were expected to attend the weekend events, which also included an alumnae game, tailgate gathering and dinner on Saturday.

The Mules are 6-9.
