PAXTON, Mass. — Mary Leasure scored a pair of goals and also had one assist amid a balanced offense to lead St. Joseph’s to a 17-1 romp over Anna Maria in a women’s lacrosse game Tuesday.

Overall, 16 players scored for St. Joseph’s.

Krystal Walsh added one goal and four assists for the Monks (9-6, 8-1).

The Monks also got one goal and two assists apiece from Kat Gadbois, Cassie Diplock and Anneka Adame.

UNE 12, CURRY 11: Gina Newsome scored 29 seconds into overtime to lift the Nor’easters (8-6, 3-3) to a Commonwealth Coast win over the Colonels (8-7, 2-4) at Biddeford.

Newsome finished with three goals and three assists, and Hannah Tavella added four goals and one assist.

TUFTS 11, BATES 9: Gabby Horner scored two of her game-high four goals in overtime to lift the Jumbos (8-5, 4-4) to a win over the Bobcats (7-6, 3-5) in a NESCAC game at Medford, Mass.

Emma Noto and Wally Pierce scored two goals apiece to lead Bates, which built a 9-6 lead with 15:36 left in regulation.

MEN’S LACROSSE

UNE 16, CURRY 9: Dan Auger scored a career-high five goals and also collected three assists to lead the Nor’easters (5-10, 2-4) as they downed the Colonels (5-9, 0-6) at Biddeford.

The eight points by Auger are the second-highest single-game total in the history of the UNE program.

TUFTS 22, BATES 14: Chris Schoenhut scored six goals to pace the Jumbos (11-2, 7-1) over the Bobcats (4-7, 1-7) at Lewiston.

Jack Allard finished with six goals for the Bobcats.
